Do Not Disturb
Why did they get rid of busy when they made the do not disturb choice for whispers? Sometimes in CA's I dont want to block out all whispers, I just want to let people know I'll get back to them in a bit. Does anyone else feel this way. I sure hope I'm not the only one....

No you're not.
I usually use (or used) the Busy command while eating or busy running/farming and would usually respond to inportant whisps from good friends only
Usually when I'm eating or on the phone (but still viewing the chat channels) I usually dont respond to questions like 'hey can you run him and him there plz?' but I'd be vexed if someone would whisp me "OMG ECTOS ARE RESET AGAIN ONLY 100G EACH MAN!!!" and the message doesn't get through because "Do not disturb" blocks it....that would suck majorly.
plz bring back Busy, it was realy usefull

I remeber the day when they reset the rune prices. Buying about 40 100g major vigor runes made me alot of money once the economy restabilized. Good times. Good times.

Do Not Disturb is awesome, and everyone I know loves it. Like others said, use away.
or maybe if they changed the away to busy, or something it might make people happy. But I'd hate it if they took DND off.

I don't understand why people didn't just change status to offline, it's basically the same as DND.

well sometimes, u wanna go through the game, but ur annoying RL friend is whispering u crazy about helping him with ice caves of sorrow, when u just gave him the run there and are now going back to farming...*actual experience*
I personally favor the "do not disturb" but i don't think busy should have been knocked off for it...

I agree.
What is the point of Offline though? If you're offline wouldn't GW be closed? Does anyone actually use this?

No when you click offline it makes your appearance offline, So when your friends look on their friends list you will show up as offline, does same to Guild list.

I dont really see the point of that unless you want to have no one notice you. And if you dont want people to notice you that much you're probably hacking someone's account. :P

or maybe you want to play your monk without being bothered it's good to have it there.
they probably took off busy because it's functionally the same as away. in the spirit of more choices, it should be there. in the spirit of less server load, take it out. pick your poison

I think we're going in circles now. Isn't that what Do Not Disturb is for?

Sometimes helping others is its own, uh, reward. I often help run someone or take them through a mission. But that can lead to other messages from them, asking for even more help. These aren't terrible people, just sort of needy at times. So it's easier for me - when I'm farming and not in the mood to help - just to use the offline setting. That way I get my time in undisturbed and don't hurt the feelings of those I help.
